“I'm about to call these guys about a P0420 code I just can't diagnose. In the past, I've had a transmission replaced and a clutch replacement. Jamie's pricing was 'jaw dropping' compared to several other estimates I received. Both jobs were done before the estimated time and after several years, both the clutch and transmission job have kept the cars running without an issue. I'm a positive person but I don't trust people easily but right away, I knew I found my mechanic for jobs I'm not capable of and/or willing to complete.”

“I had a engine replaced in a SUV in 2012 it was like new! It still runs great! I have come in for a few other maintenance issues as well but do not live in town. I recently had a water pump replaced in my truck and they did it quickly and at a reasonable price. It is a family owned business and most of the employees work hard to to do a good job. So far I am a happy customer!”

“These guys are terrific. Had an overheating problem with an 04 Jaguar. They narrowed it down right away, but I got in the way and tried to order parts from an aftermarket distributor.
Had to send them all back. These guys know what works and what doesn't. Listen to them and learn. I apologize for my behavior.”

“There is a reason why I only take my car here now. I always call ahead and they are nothing but kind reasonable and professional. They have worked on all the cars I have owned and I will always go to them no matter what. The owner is amazing and is very understanding. And the technicians do fabulous work. The tall lanky man is very very respectful and only touches what he needs to. And treated all my cars with the respect I would give them. I can honestly say all the bad reviews are garbage.”

“I had a 454 rebuilt in my 1958 Cadillac a few years ago and it seems to be running better as time goes on. I asked Jaime to build me a torque monster and he did. It goes into overdrive on the front side of the Ortega Hwy and doesn't even care. Needless to say I'm very happy with it and their expertise.”

“After looking around in the yellowbook I found the ad I needed quick and quick was when I needed my car fixed. Talked with Jamie the owner he gave me a great price over the phone which it seemed no one else wanted to.So they towed my car in replaced my engine for less then they quoted (shocker!!) and took care of some other issues with my car FREEEE. I almost fell over you never get anything FREE. My car runs better then before. I highly recommend National auto Repair. oh and got my car back clean, that was a first. Thanks”

“My vehicle had over 250K miles and was leaking oil. Dealer and other shops disheartedly entertained an engine replacement and gave estimates that discouraged that option. The manager at NAMS gave a very reasonable estimate for engine replacement. Estimate was almost half of dealer and other shops I called, with same warranty. Since I don't want higher registration fees and higher insurance for a new car, I went for the engine replacement. The guys are not staffed like a dealership, so you won't get that type of customer friendly service, however, you will get no nonsense evaluation and excellent workmanship. Your choice on where you want to feel better. I chose the honest guys at NAMS who know autos very well who are not close to a showroom of new cars and peddling them. Thanks guys, the car runs great 'just like new' for thousands less.”

“Small shop but took my cylinder head in to get reserfaced and the job looks good. Cylinder head looks almost new. I haven't installed it yet but better believe the stars will be dropping to zero if there are any compilations.”

“I was referred by friend in the vintage Japanese car community when I needed a cylinder head rebuilt for my 1971 Datsun 521. Moises, who has his son and grandson working in the shop, knew exactly what engine the head came from just on sight, and had the head rebuilt a day later! He stuck to the price I was quoted when I came in, even though it looked like they did additional work- replaced some valve seats, ect...
